Quepos is known in the world by its great fishing port. It is a small town, located 160 kilometers from San José in the province of Puntarenas. It is located in the pacific coast of Costa Rica and is a beautiful place to enjoy a relaxing weekend. Quepos is located three hours driving from San Jose, but you can also get there by taking a domestic flight at the International Airport Juan Santa María. The trip will take from 20 to 40 minutes to get to Quepos. The best time to visit Quepos is between January and April during the summer or dry season in Costa Rica and for the fishing lovers it will be important to know that this season goes from December to August. At Quepos you will be able to visit the Manuel Antonio National Park that is only 7 kms from downtown wich is one of the most famous world-wide natural reserves.
